No matter how cold it gets in Central New York, it’ll be 98 Degrees (and rising) for at least one night next month.
Jeff Timmons is bringing his “Men of the Strip” male striptease show on tour around the country. The hunky hunks will take it all off on stage at the Westcott Theater in Syracuse on Monday, December 9th at 7 p.m.
Tickets are currently on sale for $20 to $30.
“Men of the Strip,” created by Timmons and Emmy-nominated choreographer Glenn Packard, started as a reality series searching for the country’s “hottest and most talented male entertainers” to perform a nightly show in Las Vegas. Now on the road, the male revue will also heat up other Upstate New York cities next month, including Buffalo on Dec. 3, Rochester on Dec. 4 and Albany on Dec. 5.
Timmons, 40, will host the evening’s festivities and perform a few 98 Degrees songs, maybe even end up shirtless himself. The singer and TV personality previously performed in the Chippendales show in Vegas and has been happy to show off his pecs, abs and biceps during concerts both solo and with his boy (man?) bandmates Nick Lachey, Drew Lachey and Justin Jeffre.
“For guys and girls alike, it’s just an entertaining show. It’s funny!” Timmons told Us Weekly earlier this month of the new strip show.
Compared to Chippendales, he told the publication “Men of the Strip” is “still edgy, sexy and girls can let loose, but it’s more about the production… It’s a real show with lighting design and great music that we’ve put together. We’re trying to make it a Broadway-esque production — sound, lights, and amazing choreography!”
In addition to offering lapdances, the “Men of the Strip” crew will also be selling 2014 calendars featuring 16 months of chiseled studs that give “Magic Mike” a run for its money.
