JEFF TIMMONS SINGLE CLIMBING THE CHARTS
It's been nearly a year since founding 98 Degrees member, Jeff Timmons, released his solo album Whisper This Way, but the set's title track is only now beginning to climb the charts. Timmons wrote and produced the entire 13-song album, which features a mixture of pop and R&B. He told us that recording Whisper That Way on his own was very different from working with the rest of the group: "I was like a nutcase doing everything on my own, you know, because I'm a little bit of a perfectionist when it comes to getting stuff done. There would be songs that I would sit in the studio for 48 hours straight and literally not take a bath - nothing -- just sit there and go over parts, over and over again -- tweak drum parts and tweak timing on pockets of vocals."
Timmons lives in Ohio with his wife and two children.
He doesn't have any tour dates scheduled.
98 Degrees formed in Los Angeles and released its self-titled debut album in 1997. It features brothers Nick and Drew Lachey and Justin Jeffre.
It was in 2002 that the members of 98 Degrees decided to go on hiatus to pursue solo projects.
